Stuff & Things

So Hellas Mounds is back from their Southwest Tour with The Coma Recovery and the word is that all was sweet and well. Preorders for the new Hellas Mounds CD 'New Heaven New Earth' are still up- you can get an exclusive t-shirt with the CD for only $14 postage paid in the US. The same goes for new CDs by Beast In The Field, National Sunday Law, Lost Coves and The Nain Rouge. It's all over at the website, http://sawherghost.net.
National Sunday Law is in the final mixing stages right now, and their CD will be mastered by Colin Marston. The Beast In The Field CD is also in the final mastering stages- that task is being done by Glenn Brown who has mastered such legends as Nazareth, Fank Sinatra, and Spinal Tap. Lost Coves is also mastering as well, and the Nain Rouge CD is in the can and done, that was completed by the one and only Scott Hull. All of these should be out by the first of March, give or take. All the preorders will be shipped before I embark on tour with Beast In The Field to make out way down to the Saw Her Ghost SXSW showcase at Trailer Space Records I=in Austin, TX on March 20. Should be awesome!
Meabwhile there are new mp3s to listen to and download on the Beast In The Field, Nain Rouge, Hellas Mounds, and Lost Coves band pages at the website. And new tunes to listen to at the Myspace as well!

The Dirt

So for all of you blogspotters, here is the new scoop on what's happening with Saw Her Ghost. We're still working on the last Nain Rouge album. That will be here soon in CD format. It's their best work and I can't wait for it to be released! Hellas Mounds is done recording, mixing, and mastering. Their new album New Heaven/New Earth will be released first on CD, and then soon after on LP. National Sunday Law has recorded their new album The Fifth Ape. They are in the mixing stages right now. This CDEP will be released soon after the new year. Beast In The Field is recording next weekend for their 3rd full length, World Ending. This will first be released on CD and then soon after as a double LP. We also have a brand new band on the roster from Brooklyn, NY called LOST COVES. They are having a bit of an identity crisis, as they may change their name soon, but for now you can check them out at http://www.myspace.com/lostcoves. They are a two piece drum and bass duo specializing in sometimes heavy, usually trippy, and always awesome psych rock. That's what is keeping us all very busy! Thanks as always for reading! Love, SHG.
